On the 1st of October, the participants of the Movement and Voice workshop enjoyed a variety of leading / following activities at a range of levels of difficulty and ease. After this, we sat down talking about our family histories to make a poetic song / chant as part of the video we are making. Once we finished talking about this, we put the poetry to action to see how it would work and tried different ways it could be done with movement and voice.

I found the leading / following exercises challenging though I had fun doing them. At first, making the chants, I felt like I had nothing important to say, but with the help of Weizen and Alan I was able to find important parts of my history for my chant.
