EVIDENCE: The fate of an Okinawan Internee from New Caledonia by Mutsumi Tsuda is a photographic exhibition inspired by series of letters artist Mutsumi Tsuda found in Okinawa. The letters were written by Lora in New Caledonia to her Japanese husband Denzo Higa and his friend, who were both interned in Australia during World War II.

This project was a part of Cowra Civilian Internment Arts Program held in March 2014.

The Arts Program was facilitated by Mayu Kanamori with Cowra Shire Council, Cowra Musical & Dramatic Society, Cowra Breakout Association and Nikkei Australia
