Nikkei Australila member and author Christine Piper is one of the Summer Fellows 2026 at the State Library of NSW. She will be using the fellowship to continue work on her novel, using the Library to research 1930s Sydney life.

The principal purpose of the Summer Fellows program is to ‘facilitate and support the use of the Library’s unique collections for a three-month period of creative practice, study and research.’ The program will support recipients by providing work spaces and access to library staff.

Congratulations Christine!
