Setsutaro Hasegawa’s life has been featured in a display at the Immigration Museum in Melbourne since 2023 until 2026.
Congratulations Andrew this a beautiful tribute to your great-grandfather Setsutaro Hasegawa, full of deep emotion and great significance. Yes, honouring the lives and legacies of our ancestors is a deeply meaningful way to understand ourselves. Their values, experiences, struggles, achievements and stories become part of who we are, shaping our perspectives and guiding our journeys.
Thank you Jo for your kind words. The journey of sharing my Great Grandfather’s story is deep and personal. I have been working on the “jigsaw” puzzle all my life. It has driven my life. I want to share his story I think there is much to learn from it.
