Nikkei Australia Chair Elysha Rei to talk about her art practice and identity

Nikkei Australia Chair Elysha Rei will give an online talk titled Archiving Nikkei Australian Identity in Contemporary Paper Cutting Art.

Elysha will talk about her Nikkei experiences as an artist and her connection with her Japanese grandmother.

The event is organised by Canadian group Japanese for Nikkei, an education platform that provides Japanese language classes for the global Japanese diaspora.

Elysha’ talk is part of the Nikkei Spotlight Series, which is an online speaker series celebrating the voices of people who have connections to Japan.
