Nikkei Australia’s Dr Yuriko Nagata (University of Queensland) will discuss the book, Four Years in a Red Coat, Translation of Miyakatsu Koike’s Loveday diary, (Wakefield, 2022) edited by Prof Peter Monteath (Flinders University) and Dr Nagata at the Showa Era Lifestyle Museum in Tokyo, Japan.
At the same event, Dr Tets Kimura (Flinders University) will talk about Australian ‘war art’, art created by Japanese in internment or POW camps during the War in the Pacific.
